James Dorlin returns to Brands Hatch this weekend [29-30 September] among a quartet of drivers in Renault UK Clio Cup title contention.

An eighth podium of the season at Silverstone last time out has elevated the BRDC Rising Star to within 7 points of the championship lead, with a maximum of 56 available at the 2.43 mile Kent double-header.

The Vantage Motor Group and GardX Protection-backed racer has turned in an impressive record in his second season in the hotly-contested single make category, with an unsurpassed five victories along with a further quartet of pole positions and fastest laps apiece.

Brands Hatch has been a proven hunting ground for the Barnsley-based racer in the past, with the objective firmly set on taking each race as it comes and aiming for maximum scores.

James Dorlin said, "There's a lot riding on this weekend. We're quite possibly only a few days away from what would not only be the biggest title of my career to date, but also for Westbourne Motorsport.

"The approach is simple; we just need to stay focused, take each race as it comes and do the best we can, then we'll see where we end up. One thing is for sure - it's going to be exciting!
